A MOTHER has done the unthinkable by allegedly killing her two sons, aged one month and two years.
Suspect Adwoa Juliana, who lives with her husband and children at Ejura in the Ashanti Region, has since been apprehended.
Juliana allegedly half buried her two-year-old son, Alfred Ahahbeane, under a cashew tree on a farm.
She also allegedly murdered the one-month baby, Kwadwo Polika, for inexplicable reasons and left the body there.
The two bodies have since been deposited at the St. Theresa’s Hospital morgue at Nkoranza for autopsy.
It is unknown whether or not Juliana is suffering from mental disorder that might have ‘influenced’ her to kill her two sons.
A police report sighted by DAILY GUIDE said the heartbreaking incident happened on Tuesday, July 21.
It said Yeboah Akwasua, father of the children and one Kwame Akomolga, reported the disturbing case to the police.
According to the report, Yeboah said he suspected his wife, Adwoa Juliana, to have killed their two children and absconded.
“Police proceeded to the scene and found the body of Kwadwo Polika wearing a T-shirt over baby’s diaper, lying in a supine position with no marks of assault on body,” the report said.
“The body of the second child, wearing multi coloured T-shirt and black shorts and cover with a piece of cloth, was found half buried under a cashew tree on a farm at Nkyenkye near Frante with marks of assault on the body,” it added.
The report also said a torn note of GH¢200 and a GH¢50 note, one lady’s handbag, containing the personal wears of the deceased kids, were found at the scene.
Meanwhile, reports indicated that Adwoa Juliana has been apprehended and was going to be arraigned.
