Yvonne Nelson
Actress Yvonne Nelson has asked Ola Michael, a film producer and Neat FM presenter, to ‘take a chill pill’ because in spite of his lack of support for her recent movies on Netflix, the movies are still doing very well on the global platform.
Ola Michael—while reacting to Yvonne’s recent opinion about Ghana’s showbiz industry on Twitter—said on Peace FM on Saturday that Yvonne doesn’t support any person in her field of work and wondered why she should be supported.
But Yvonne denied his claim, revealing that she has offered support to different people in the showbiz industry, including giving off her movie equipment to people to shoot with.
In her Monday tweets to Ola, she said God is on her side.
“Mr. Ola, #FIXUS and #SINCITY are number 1 on Netflix, just so you know, that’s what you FAILED to project during the interview, with or without that, God’s got me. I’m no ordinary lady! God is with me! He directs my every move.
That same day/ time you were bashing me about correcting what you guys did on Peace FM, JOY FM had a show uplifting and projecting my NETFLIX success. The irony in GHANA, it’s easier to love like I said, your assistant apologized for what you did so I won’t drag this,” she stated.
“Entertainers have the right to talk about what we want at every period of time, you can’t force me to talk about certain people on your platform. My tweets are there and are in English. Trying to cut me off was unprofessional, try it with someone else, not me. I said what I said. ENTERTAINERS need to start supporting and loving each other! Period!!! Shout-outs to JOY FM thanks for the support,” she added.
