Fred Nuamah Confirms Secret Love Affairs With Ugandan Star

Fred Nuamah, Zari Hassan

THE FOUNDER of Ghana Movie Awards (GMA), Fred Nuamah, has confirmed rumours that he is now dating South Africa-based Ugandan businesswoman and socialite, Zari Hassan.

The one-time actor took to his Instagram on Wednesday to declare his love for the beautiful woman in a long post to celebrate her birthday.

“@zarithebosslady Just when I thought of giving up to the fate that true love doesn’t exist, you came and showed me the best of it. Thanks for being you for me. You are, and always have been my dream girl,” he said.

“It’s simple, your happiness is my happiness. Your life began on this day. My life began the day we spoke. I’m so glad both days happened,” he added.

“…Let me use this letter to validate all my love for you. Before we spoke, I didn’t believe it was possible to love someone so deeply and completely, but you have given me faith that true love really does exist because I share it with you. Most importantly, I love the way you complete me. You are my soul mate I thought I’d never find. You cheer me up when I’m down and help me find balance when my world is out of control,” he proudly spoke about his love for Zari.

Zari has been described as a Ugandan businesswoman who owns a chain of businesses. She was previously married but got divorced in 2013. Widespread reports indicate she once dated Tanzanian musician Diamond Platinumz and is also a mother of two.

Fred’s show of love for Zari comes not long after he had said his utmost respect goes to men who defy all odds to get married to single mothers.

“A real man is the man who dates and marries a woman with children and he accepts them as his own,” he told NEWS-ONE in July 2020.

“Any man who is interested any of these single mothers in showbiz should not be scared to go for them. They are hard working,” he also added.

Fred got married to his ex-wife Martekor on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at a private ceremony which was attended by some of Ghana’s biggest showbiz personalities in Accra.

Their marriage came off on the heels of incessant pressure on Fred to get himself a wife because he was no longer young.

He first proposed to Martekor in January 2018 while on board an Africa World Airline from Accra to Monrovia, Liberia, to attend the inauguration of the then newly elected president of Liberia, George Oppong Weah.

After that came the marriage ceremony which was witnessed by the likes of Sandra Ankobiah, Jackie Appiah, John Dumelo, Van Vicker, Omar Sheriff Captan, Becca and a host of other Ghanaian entertainers.

However, reports in mid-May 2019 claimed that the marriage has hit the rock.

Both Fred and Martekor have not directly denied or confirmed the rumour about their marriage.

In addition, Martekor had deleted all photos of him from her Instagram page at that time.

Whatever it was, Fred has moved on. He has now found love in Zari Hassan.
