Riohs Originate, a fashion design school, has begun making huge impact in the creative arts industry in the country.
The school, located at Dzorwulu in Accra, offers a wide range of arts and designs that are targeted at indigenous and European fashion design programmes.
Riohs Originate is known for impacting the lives of many Ghanaians who have chosen fashion design as a career.
It is credited and noted for starting a six months course in fashion design and illustration in the country some 10 years ago.
The institution has trained notable personalities within the fashion industry both in Ghana and within the West African sub-region who have successfully completed and set up studios providing excellent services to numerous clients.
Countless students each year now study creative and visual arts at Riohs Originate since the company is the preferred fashion school in Ghana.
The fashion school, due to protocols put in place to curb the spread of Covid-19, has introduced online fashion design and illustration class for students in 2021.
The initiative had its pilot during the initial phase of the pandemic with the 2020 batch which started the course in February 2020.
The institution announced the rollout of the full online class at the just ended eighth edition of Joie De Vivre which took place at Alliance Francaise in Accra.
Joie De Vivre is a show that provides students the platform to exhibit their creativity and confidence on a runway.
Management of Riohs Originate has indicated that new students wishing to learn Fashion Design and Illustration in 2021 should expect a 100% online education as an option.
The novel initiative by the institution will give equal value to students that will go in for online education, having the opportunity to go through the Riohs Experience in the comfort of their homes/workplaces/anywhere in the world.
“We continue to adjust our plans for our current students, aiming to be more accommodating and adaptable in 2021 with an online education, while still keeping to high standards. Our Covid-19 experience has showed us how to do better, students deserve nothing but the best from us,” said Richard Ohene Sika, Talent Manager of Riohs Originate.
