Gifty Ohene-Konadu presents a certificate to an official of Lan Tiaxyi Soy Milk Company Limited
GIFTY OHENE-Konadu, National Coordinator of the ‘One District, One Factory’ (1D1F) initiative, has presented the second batch of certificates to some 23 private businesses which have partnered with government to carry out the programme.
The certificates of recognition from President Akufo-Addo to the business promoters, follows the presentation to the first set of certificates to some three deserving companies namely Ekumfi Fruits and Juices Limited, Casa De Ropa and Petersfield and Rey Group about three weeks ago.
In a remark, the national coordinator stated, “I wish to convey the commendation of the President to you the promoters who have piloted through waves of risks and many huge challenges.
“I wish to assure you that we will continue to monitor the progress of our achievements and support you to deliver outputs for the local and international consumers. Your success story will also encourage your fellow citizens to contribute in other areas to build the Ghana we will all be proud of. A Ghana beyond aid and the new Ghana we yearn for,” she highlighted.
She further indicated that all companies that had partnered with government in the 1D1F would be presented with their certificates.
She added that the siting and operationalization of the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) Secretariat in Ghana had set the tone for the export of products being manufactured by 1D1F companies.
