Some NDC members have raised false alarm in Techiman Adjeiwa Hotel and have attacked the hotel on the suspecion that some NPP supporters have bused voters into the hotel and are voting there.
They stormed the hotel with sticks and cutlass and iron bar.
There was counter-attacked by NPP youth but the timely intervention of police and military and arrest of some the rioters calm down tempers.
DGN Online’s investigations revealed that some supporters of the ruling party who had come to vote were being fed and given transport fares to go to their villages and it was romoured that voting was talking place in the hotel which was false.
The incident made lot of people rushed to the hotel.
