Heartman
Young and talented singer and songwriter, Heartman, has been tipped to win an award at this year’s edition of the Ghana Music Awards-UK slated for October in London.
The ‘For You’ hitmaker has been nominated for Uncovered Artiste of the Year category. He will be competing in the category with the likes of Tiisha, Oseikrom Sikani, Malcolm Nuna, Ohemaa Eunice, Kwame Yogot, Naana Blu, Nautyca, Emelia Brobbey, Nanky, Mona 4Reall and Luciya.
The afrobeat icon is hopeful of sweeping the award he has been nominated for. A large number of his fans have already declared to vote overwhelmingly for him to win the award.
According to some of his fans, he deserves the award because he had worked tirelessly to make his presence felt in the local music scene after the release of his hit song titled ‘For You’.
They also believe that Heartman’s hard work in the industry in the year under review will earn him the award.
GMA-UK is being organised by Alordia Promotions in partnership with West Coast Promotions to reward deserving artistes for their hard work, dedication and contribution to the progress of Ghana’s music industry.
Gospel Song of the Year, Hiplife Song of the Year, Highlife Song of the Year, Hip Hop Song of the Year, Afrobeats/Afropop Song of the Year, Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year, Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year, Highlife Artiste of the Year, and Hiplife Artiste of the Year are some of the categories for this year’s awards.
