The Northern Regional Rugby Association have expressed their gratitude to the Ghana Rugby Technical Director, Collin Osborne, for gifting them kits.
Mr. Osborne, a top rugby bighead based in the United Kingdom, donated to the association brand new sets of jerseys as part of his contribution towards the development of rugby in the region.
The ace rugby coach, who has been one of the bigheads behind the technical development of rugby coaches in Ghana, donated the eye-catching jerseys after a global plea for support made by the President of the Northern Rugby Association, Rafatu lnusah.
Mr. Osborne raised the awareness in the United Kingdom, arranged to ship what was donated with the help of Anna Mensah wife of Herbert Mensah.
The items donated include both new and old sets of rugby paraphernalia consisting of jerseys, boots, cones, head gear, rugby shirts and shorts, school shoes, walking shoes, leggings, caps and ball bags.
The players and coaches of the rugby association in the region who were full of smiles after donning and modelling in the new jerseys have expressed their gratitude to Mr. Osborne and other individuals involved in ensuring the jerseys were donated successfully.
They explained that the new jerseys will go a long way to motivate them and also attract others to engage in playing the game.
