The pastor who predicted in a supposed prophecy on radio that dancehall artiste Charlse Nii Armah aka Shatta Wale was going to be gunned down on October 18, a day after the musician’s birthday, has been granted bail by an Accra Circuit Court.
The pastor, Stephen Akwasi popular called Jesus Ahuofe made a second appearance before the court where he is standing trial causing fear and panic.
The court presided over by Her Honour Ellen Offei Aryeh granted the accused person a bail of GHc100,000 with three sureties who are gainfully employed.
He is to report to the police every Mondays and Thursdays until otherwise ordered by the court.
The accused was remanded into police custody last Thursday when he first appeared before the court.
The court at the time said the prosecution needed time conclude their investigation as prayed by the prosecution led by Chief Inspector Dennis Terkpetey.
The accused will return to court on October 29, 2021.
