Beautiful mother of award-winning actress, Yvonne Okoro, celebrated her 60th birthday with a sizeable party at their home on December 26.
The actress shared videos and photos from the celebration on Instagram on Thursday, showing the mother looking all glamourous and beautiful while in a very happy mood for the occasion.
The videos also showed great family moments as they sang, danced and fete. There was indeed so much food, music, and drinks to enjoy with.
The icing on the cake was a surprising appearance by reggae dancehall icon, Andrew Samini who happens to be one of Yvonne’s mom favourite artistes.
He performed some of his old tunes including the evergreen song, “Linda” to the excitement of all at the ceremony and the celebrant.
Yvonne Okoro said she was not at the event because of Covid-19, suggesting she wasn’t well.
She wrote, “Hi Everyone..Trust you all had a good Christmas. My mum celebrated her 60th birthday during Christmas, unfortunately, I couldn’t celebrate this day due to COVID. This is not the first time Yvonne Okoro’s family is creating a splash with a family activity. When her sister Roseline Okoro tied the nuptial knot last year the family was all over the news.
