The Intelligence Unit of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) supported by Armed Plain Cloth Police has arrested a gang of fraudsters purporting to recruit the unsuspecting public into the Service.
The recruitment exercise which started early morning on Friday January 14, 2022 at Day and Night Hotel at Abeka-Lapaz, a suburb if Accra saw hundreds of prospective applicants paying various sums of monies to the fraudsters.
Ten of the members of the gang were arrested and sent to the Police Headquarters for further interrogation.
