Organisers of the annual Hospitality Awards Africa have announced the opening of nominations for the fourth edition of the award ceremony.
This is to enable more individuals and organisations to participate in the award ceremony.
Since the return to moderate and normal travel activities after COVID-19 that brought the industry to a standstill for almost two years, the hospitality industry has more reason to celebrate and reward those that have kept the sector running.
According to Mrs. Linda Vidzro, Chief Operating Officer of Hospitality Awards Africa, nominations will end on September 12, 2022, and encouraged the public to take part.
This year’s award categories range from 3-star to 5-star hotels in Ghana and Africa. There is also the introduction of new categories like Rising Star of the Year, Legacy Award, and the improved Top 10 Hospitality and Tourism Influencers, and Best Hospitality & Tourism Media House of the Year among other exciting new categories.
Mrs. Vidzro called on stakeholders to visit the organisers’ social media platforms on Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook @hospitalityawardsafrica to participate.
The theme for this year is “Celebrating Hospitality Leaders in Africa”. The awards will be climaxed with a gala dinner on November 26, 2022 at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana.
The awards scheme seeks to reward, acknowledge and award the outstanding heads of departments and team leaders who drive excellence and exhibit exceptional leadership skills in their various hotels, resorts, restaurants and bars.
