The National Executive Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appointed 10 persons to serve in the capacity of Deputy National Executives, as the party laces it boots for the 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
The committee has also appointed another group of 17 people to serve in the capacity of Directors of the party at the National Secretariat in accordance with Article 10(7)(3) of the party’s constitution.
The list is made up of Dr. Antoinette Tsibu-Darko and Haruna Mohammed as Deputy General Secretaries, while Joseph Nganiba Kwayaja and Chris Lloyd Nii Kwei will serve as Deputy National Organisers.
Safia Mohammed and Mariam Awurama Duah have been appointed as Deputy National Women’s Organisers, while Isaac Jay Nii Amahtey Hyde and Sandra Sarkodie-Addo were appointed as Deputy National Youth Organisers.
Abdul Taric Bonsu and Hajia Ayesha Yussif complete the list as Deputy National Nasara Coordinators.
The National Executive Committee also appointed the Member of Parliament for Okere constituency in the Eastern Region, Dan Botwe as Director of Campaign Strategy, William Yamoah as Director of Finance, Evans Nimako as Director of Research and Elections, while Dr. Ernest Owusu Kumih has been appointed as Director of Research, and Dr. Nyame Baafi was appointed Deputy Director of Research.
The list also includes Richard Ahiagba as the Director of Communications, while Ernest Owusu Bempah, Kamal Deen Abdulai, Mrs. Rabi Salifu, Jennifer Ofori Appiah, George Krobea Asante and Asiedu Kokro are the new Deputy Directors of Communications.
Frederick Kofi Ameyaw has been appointed as the Director of External Affairs, and Nana Asafo-Adjei Ayeh and Portia Adwoa Siaw are his deputies.
Kwodwo Afari has been appointed Director of Protocols and Kwabena Ofori Frimpong is his deputy, while Eric Ntori and Stephen Forson have been appointed as Director and Deputy Director of Information Technology respectively.
