Adamu Hamid Ouedraogo has been enstooled the chief of Moshie Yade Community at Maamobi in Accra.
The new chief who is to work in conjunction with other leaders of the community to steer it affairs was enstooled by Dr Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, the National Chief Imam over the weekend.
The enstolment became necessary following the death of his grandfather, Alhaji Naaba Killba who was the Chief.
The colourful solemn ceremony which took place at Maamobi brought together traditional rulers, from different parts of the country and beyond.
It also coincided with the 40days observation of the demise of his grandfather.
The National Chief Imam entreated the new Chief to be firm and ensure orderliness and peace in the Muslim community across the region.
For him, the chief would have to work hard to tackle challenges facing the community and find solutions to address them
He, however, advised all Muslim communities in the country to support the newly installed Chief to change the face of the Muslim community.
Chief Ouedraogo assured the Muslim community of his unflinching support throughout his reign and that he would use his office to project and promote development.
Touching on the development in the country he stated that unemployment situation has been a major wrecking challenge facing his communities and that he would work in tandem with stakeholders to resolve it.
“I will work in collaboration with the leaders of the country to promote the development of the Moshie Yade Community in Ghana and make the community the model of political and traditional cooperation in the country,” he stated
He appealed to all to support him throughout his reign as the leader of the community.
He urged the youth in the country to channel their resources into the agriculture sector in order to have economic independent.
