Old students of Navrongo School (Navasco) in Kumasi have paid a courtesy call on Thomas Adjei, the former Assistant / Acting Headmaster of Navasco (1977-81).

The delegation comprising eight Nabias, presented the Chronicles of Navasco, a t-shirt and cash donation of an unspecified amount to the 91-year-old retiree, now resident in Boadi, Kumasi.

He expressed surprise about the visit, especially after he left Navasco with mixed feelings. He recounted many stories and incidents that happened in Navasco during his tenure, including his daughter who was given birth to in a car that was conveying his pregnant wife to the War Memorial Hospital in Navrongo. The daughter, Clara, now a headmistress of a Basic School, was present during the visit. The delegation apologised to the old man for whatever happened those days and attributed it to youthful exuberance. Mr. Adjei and his family who were visibly happy with the Nabias for the visit, thanked the Kumasi Branch for the honour done him.
