Thrills At ‘Until Hell Freezes Over’ Premiere

Patrons of ‘Until Hell Freezes Over’ movie had the best time of their lives at the official premiere on Saturday, October 15, at the SNAPS Cinema, Accra City Hall Theatre Complex (AMA building) in Accra.

Some patrons who spoke to BEATWAVES after the premiere indicated that watching the ‘Until Hell Freezes’ movie in the theatre was awesome not just because the movie was amazing, but because enjoying the film with the crowd in the theatre was such a fun experience.

During the screening, many in the audience were very emotional during the motivational moments, but they also clapped and whistled to recognise the efforts of the director’s crew and local actors in the smaller roles.

Many of the people who left the theatre on Saturday evening were thrilled with the production. The weekend’s events started at 7:30pm showing to a nearly full room of movie-goers at SNAP Theatre.

Directed by Joseph Barret, the Christian-motivated story talked about humanity, faith, and pressing towards goals regardless of the challenges we face. It talks about a young poor boy who struggled his entire life as a result of his parent’s demise.

Upon meeting and falling in love with a rich popular girl in another community, his life challenges begin to turn from bad to worse.

After the premiere, Joseph Barret indicated that he dedicated the movie to his late mother Ernestina Cudjoe, who was the Executive Producer of the ‘Until Hell Freezes Over’ movie from the stables of Humble Hub Studios.

“This movie is to motivate anyone who has lost his beloved one and still fighting to make an impact in society. Your hustle will surely pay off, trust in the Lord,” he said.

The movie features stars such as Achieva Evans, Ernest Sampong, Roy Damptey, Bernice Codjoe, Ernie Blvze, Clementina Larbi, Janet Mawuena, Godfred Asante, Faith Olayemi, Anaporka Adazabra, among others.
