JAD Events Ghana, organisers of the maiden edition of the African Wedding Vendors Awards (AWVA) have shortlisted some big names as top vendors in the wedding industry to be recognised and celebrated for their creativity and service excellence.
The likes of gospel sensation Piesie Esther, Madam Afi Amoro, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jandel Limited, Kennedy Osei Kofi Asante and Tracy Osei Gyamfuah Ameyaw of KENCY 2020, among others will be honoured at the event slated for November 12, 2022.
The event will be held at the Airport View Hotel, at 6pm under the theme “The Sustainability and Future of Africa’s Wedding Industry.”
According to the event organisers, the AWVA platform was birthed to recognise talented hardworking professionals in the industry known for their creativity and unique professional services in the country and beyond.
The prestigious AWVA awards intend to involve start-ups and professionals working together and sharing great experiences in support of the uniqueness of events and innovation.
There will be a bridal fashion walkway at the Red Carpet, and a display of bridal collections with inspirational designs along the event.
Categories for this year’s awards include AWVA Bridal Styling of the Year, Wedding Cake Vendor of the Year, Wedding Accessories Designer of the Year, Bridal Room Styling of the Year, Wedding Videography of the Year, Traditional Stylist of the Year.
Others include Bridal Designer of the Year, Wedding Ushering Agency of the Year, Wedding Cocktail Vendor of the Year, Wedding Planner of the Year, Bridal Makeup Artist of the Year, and Catering Vendor of the Year among others.
