Ghanaian award-winning dancehall/reggae act, Stonebwoy, born Livingstone EtseSatekla last Friday paid a courtesy visit to the managers and staff of Daily Guide Network; Guide Radio, DGN TV, and Daily Guide,subsidiaries of Western Publications Limited,to strengthen ties with the media network.
His presence at the media house attracted a lot of people, both staff and residents of the Nima community, chanting his “BhimBhim” slogan in excitement. Others also sang his popular songs inacknowledgement of his hard work and relationship with his grassroots fan base.
The 2023Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Best Reggae/Dancehall winner extended his gratitude to the journalists and news editors who have continuously covered his music journey.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Western Publications Limited, Kwame Blay, at a brief meeting with Stonebwoy congratulated him for his recent wins at this year’s VGMA, highlighting his years of consistency since he shot to fame.
Stonebwoy also congratulated the CEO for his hard workin positioning the media house as one of the best in the country. He also called for more support and collaboration from the media network managers and staff to help position Ghana well on the world music stage.
Few weeksago, former New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman, Freddie Blay, was spotted at the launch of Stonebwoy’s fifth album launch titled ‘5th Dimension’ at the Polo Beach Club in Accra.
Mr. Blay, who was seen in a friendly conversation with the beloved artiste after his performance, eulogised him for the level of hard work and dynamic style which is admired by many across the world.
