Joe Mettle
Celebrated gospel musician, Joe Mettle, will host the 11th edition of his annual gospel concert dubbed ‘Praiz Reloaded’ on June 25 at the Calvary Charismatic Centre (CCC) in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.
Praiz Reloaded is a gospel musical concert designed to give credence to the importance of “praise and worship in the life of a Christian”.
Started in 2012, the Praiz Reloaded concert has in the past years served a platform for many lovers of gospel music to enjoy an atmosphere of praise and worship.
The past events have had artistes such as Danny Nettey, Eugene Zutah, Francis Amoh, Cwesi Oteng, among others on the platform.
This year’s event, which is expected to attract a large number of stakeholders in the music industry, fans of Joe Mettle, among others, will feature gospel artistes such as Prospa Ochimana from Nigeria, Efe Grace, Piesie Esther and a host of others.
Joe Mettle, who is known for popular tracks such as ‘Bo Noo Ni’, ‘Amen’, ‘Turning Around’, among others, has been doing gospel music for over a decade now. He began his gospel music career with the award-winning music group, Soul Winners.
He is the first Ghanaian gospel artiste to be awarded Artiste of the Year, at the 2017 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
He was named Best Male Artiste in Africa at the 2019 edition of the Africa Gospel Awards.
He is recognised as Ghana’s biggest gospel music export, and has blessed lives with his songs.
