Don Little
Actor Don Little has reached out to the family of the three-year-old boy, Emmanuel Ampomah, who tragically died in an accident involving Kumawood actor Lilwin, appealing for their forgiveness.
Don Little emphasised that the incident was unintentional and urged the family to consider forgiveness as a step toward healing.
“It was not my brother’s aim to cause an accident. Therefore, on behalf of Lilwin, I am appealing to Ghanaians and the family of the three-year-old boy who passed away, to forgive even though it is painful,” Don Little said in a video shared by One Ghana TV on YouTube.
He further mentioned that the initial communication from Lilwin’s management about the accident was poorly handled, which exacerbated the family’s distress.
“The person who initially spoke about the incident did not handle it well, causing further upset. Hence, we are seeking forgiveness,” he added.
Lilwin, whose real name is Kwadwo Nkansah, was detained by police on Monday, June 3, 2024, after being discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
He was arraigned before the court and charged with dangerous driving and negligently causing harm. Lilwin was granted bail of GH¢50,000 and the case has been adjourned to June 27, 2024.
As the case progresses, Don Little’s plea highlights the need for compassion and understanding during this difficult time for all parties involved.
