Wunmi’s Sister Blames Her For Mohbad’s Death

Late Mohbad and wife, Wunmi

New allegations have emerged in the ongoing investigation into the death of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The late singer’s sister-in-law, Karimot, made shocking claims during a TikTok Live session on Monday, suggesting that her sister, Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, played a role in his untimely death.

Karimot alleged that the couple had a serious altercation, which resulted in damage to a railing in their home.

According to her, it was this fight that led Wunmi to summon a nurse, a decision Karimot claims contributed to Mohbad’s death.

Adding to the controversy, Karimot publicly disowned Wunmi, accusing her of withholding important information.

She alleged that Wunmi had taken Mohbad’s phone from his mother and refused to return it, along with other devices that are believed to hold critical evidence.

Karimot also accused Wunmi of siphoning funds from Mohbad’s accounts into one opened under her mother’s name.

These revelations have sparked outrage and speculation on social media, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.

Karimot’s accusations come in the wake of an earlier apology she offered to Mohbad’s father after the release of the singer’s autopsy results.

The claims are yet to be independently verified, and Wunmi has not publicly responded to the allegations.

The investigation into Mohbad’s death remains active as authorities continue to piece together the events leading up to his passing.
