NPP To Finalize Manifesto Today

In a move seen as a crucial step towards the 2024 general elections, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has summoned an emergency National Council meeting to discuss and finalize its manifesto.

The meeting, scheduled for Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Botsio Hall, Alisa Hotel, will bring together top party executives and stakeholders to put the finishing touches on the document that will outline the party’s vision and policies for the next four years.

According to a statement signed by General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, the meeting has been called at the behest of National Chairman Stephen Ayesu Ntim, underscoring the significance of the occasion.

This development comes just a day before the party’s planned manifesto launch on August 17, 2024, indicating a sense of urgency and importance attached to the document.

Meanwhile, Political analysts see this move as a strategic effort by the NPP to consolidate its position and make a strong case for re-election.

With the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) also gearing up for the polls, the NPP’s manifesto is expected to be a comprehensive and compelling document that addresses the country’s pressing issues and showcases the party’s achievements.

The meeting is expected to be attended by high-profile party members, including government officials, MPs, and regional executives, who will scrutinize and endorse the manifesto before its unveiling to the public.

As Ghana heads into a critical election year, the NPP’s manifesto is set to be a defining document that will shape the party’s campaign and ultimately influence the outcome of the polls.
