BKQ Foundation Brings Hope To Cancer Patients

The BKQ Foundation, a philanthropic organisation, has extended a compassionate hand to 10 cancer patients undergoing treatment at the National Radiotherapy, Oncology, and Nuclear Medicine Center at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

The BKQ Foundation settled the outstanding bills of the patients, thereby easing their financial burdens.

The gesture, which formed part of the Foundation’s Pink October breast cancer awareness month activities, was met with heartfelt appreciation from the patients.

During a brief ceremony at the center, the beneficiaries shared personal stories of struggle and hope, highlighting the significant impact of the BKQ Foundation’s support.

BKQ Foundation Co-Founder, Nonka Quashie made a poignant pledge, committing the Foundation to cover the treatment bills for the patients until their treatment is completed.

This dedication exemplifies the organisation’s unwavering commitment to supporting those in need during their healthcare journey.

Principal Nursing Officer, Madam Jennifer Botchway, representing the center, expressed profound gratitude for the BKQ Foundation’s support.
