Detor -The Rise Of a Warrior Hunter, a movie produced by Ghanaian filmmaker Mark Cofie Jnr, which premiered to critical acclaim in March 2024 before it went onto the international circuit.
As with the movie title – the movie is rising as it airs on United Airlines from 1st November 2024.

The movie producer, writer and Director, Mark Cofie Jnr. has attributed the achievement to hard work and consistency.
“It is refreshing to see Detor rise to this height, indeed, hard work pays, and having the right team ensures success” said the Director.
He added “A lot went into producing Detor, and l must commend my team for their selfless contributions, the crew and cast for their commitment to make this a reality. We will keep pushing, as this has really motivated us to stay the course. ”
Detor is a retelling of Ewe stories that weave the journey of Detor, his twin sons Atsu Tsaala and Etse Tsaali and the origin story of the migration from Ngotsie to their current settlements.
