The New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Mike Oquaye Jnr, has taken to the streets to rally support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, Mike Oquaye Jnr, a seasoned diplomat and politician, believes Dr. Bawumia’s bold solutions message is what the country needs.
During a recent engagement with persons with disabilities, widows, and widowers, he outlined Dr. Bawumia’s vision for transformation, saying that he has demonstrated an unwavering loyalty to Ghana and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He mentioned that Dr. Bawumia’s achievements include implementing policies to boost Ghana’s economy, driving Ghana’s digital transformation, and overseeing key infrastructure projects.
Manifesto Promises
For the Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Mr. Oquaye Jnr has pledged to enhance access to quality healthcare, invest in educational infrastructure and resources, and create job opportunities and skill training programmes.
Mr. Oquaye Jnr emphasised the need for unity and hard work within the party, urging supporters to put aside differences and work towards a common goal.
He urged the residents to rally support for the NPP government by voting for Dr. Bawumia on December 7 to maintain the free Senior High School (SHS), and also pledged to work tirelessly for the constituency.
Mr. Oquaye Jnr also criticised the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), emphasising the New Patriotic Party’s achievements and the need for continuity.
He urged supporters to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and himself, promising a “brand new presidency” and a “tear-rubber MP.”

The Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), Irene Naa Torshie, who joined Ambassador Mike Oquaye Jnr, noted that she strongly believes that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a unifying figure who can bring together both Christians and Muslims in Ghana.
According to Naa Torshie, Dr. Bawumia has consistently demonstrated his commitment to religious tolerance, which is essential for promoting multi-faith harmony and unity among Ghanaians.
She said Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s leadership style and character traits make him an ideal candidate to strengthen the bond between people of different faiths.
