Agnes Narkie Adu Gyan, known professionally as Narkie Adu Gyan, is quickly becoming one of the most promising voices on the gospel music scene.
Narkie’s journey from a church singer to a rising gospel star is one that is full of purpose and determination, as she has a strong heart for ministry and an unbreakable commitment to using her music to inspire others.
Narkie’s first album, ‘Mesom Wo’ (I Will Praise You), was released in October 2023 and immediately became well-known with its poignant lyrics.
The songs on the album, which is accessible on all social media channels, reflects Narkie’s strong religious beliefs and her wish to reach a wide range of listeners by fusing classic gospel melodies with modern inspirations.
“My ministry is music,” she declares, adding, “The goal is to reach people and heal them with the message of God’s love, not just to amuse them.”

In addition to her work as a Business Development Manager at the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), where she supports small enterprises and promotes economic empowerment, Narkie is a chartered marketer by trade.
Bishop Bowers School, St. Rose’s Senior High School, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) are all part of her remarkable academic history.
Narkie finds balance in her hectic work life by engaging in her favourite hobbies like tennis, which she says is a great way to relax and stay active. Her ability to balance several responsibilities is a testament to her self-control, concentration, and resolve, traits that are apparent in both her music and work.
“My music will continue to change people’s lives and help them get closer to God,” she says.
