South Australia-based Ghanaian reggae artiste Ras Ekow Minano and the Hope of Africa Band Ghana, will this Friday, December 6, 2024 host a peace concert at the Gold Coast Bar and Restaurant in Accra.
The peace concert, which is expected to attract music fans from all walks of life including music stakeholders, will feature Okore and Van Jake as a special guest.
Ras Minano, who is renowned for a slew of hit songs, says he is very excited to be headlining the peace concert, and called on Ghanaians to maintain the peace before, during and after the elections.
He, therefore, called on all peace lovers to throng to the Gold Coast Bar and Restaurant tomorrow and pledge for peace.
The concert aims at sensitising the general public and creating awareness on the need for peace as Ghana prepares to go to the polls come December 7.
BEATWAVES gathered that some representatives of political parties and other stakeholders will be present at the peace concert.
According to the reggae artiste, Ghanaians are peace-loving people, and he believes that the 2024 elections will be very peaceful.
Ras Minano, who won the World Reggae Song of the Year award at the 2021 edition of the USA W.A.M. Awards, will perform some of his hit songs such as ‘Africa Oseeyeii’, ‘My Love’, and ‘Womba’ among other hits from his albums ‘Jah Spirit’ and ‘Africa is Sick’.
Ras Minano, who hails from Ghana, is an accomplished reggae artiste, songwriter and producer who resides in Adelaide, South Australia, where he continues to make waves with his music.
