Ladybird Logistics Recognised For Gender Equality

Mr. Tutu Agyare with the award

Ladybird Logistics, a ZEN Petroleum subsidiary, has been recognised for its pioneering all-female driver team at the Africa Sustainable Futures Awards.

The awards ceremony, held at the Peninsula London, celebrated innovative initiatives addressing critical development issues across Africa.

Ladybird Logistics’ Female Driver Programme stood out for its transformative approach to empowering women in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

The programme breaks down gender barriers, enhancing the livelihoods of women drivers and contributing to Africa’s development goals.

The recognition event was part of the Financial Times’ Africa Summit, which brought together African leaders, global investors, and industry partners to discuss sustainable growth and development opportunities.

ZEN Petroleum’s Board Chair, Tutu Agyare, and CEO, William Tewiah, accepted the honour, underscoring the company’s commitment to leading with purpose and creating sustainable change within communities.
