Nomzamo in Christie Brown design
South African actress and television personality, Nomzamo Mbatha, turned heads at the recently concluded 2024 Earthshot Prize held in South Africa.
In a stunning display of fashion and innovation, the star graced the event wearing a breathtaking outfit from the renowned Ghanaian brand, Christie Brown.
Nomzamo’s eye-catching ensemble was a lab-grown dress, a remarkable collaboration between Ghana’s Aisha Ayensu, Founder and Creative Director of Christie Brown and 2023 Earthshot finalist Colourfit, a pioneering textile production company.
The vibrant hue of the dress, named Solar Citrine was not only visually striking but also symbolised creativity and optimism, having been cultivated from the soil itself.
Following her show-stopping appearance on the award’s green carpet, Christie Brown’s founder, Aisha Ayensu, has been showered with accolades for her stunning designs.
