K’si Gets Modern Car Garage

Maxi’s garage at Bekwai Roundabout in Kumasi

AN ULTRAMODERN car garage, which is comparable to those in Dubai and other advanced countries, has officially been opened at Bekwai Roundabout in Kumasi.

Luxurious cars like Maybach, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Maserati, G Wagon, Lamborghini, Porsche, Escalade, Mercedes Benz and BMW are on display at the garage.

The plush-looking garage, which is owned by popular car dealer, Prince Kumi aka ‘Maxi the Car Dealer’, was opened on Sunday evening.

Kennedy Agyapong, the former Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Dr. Kwaku Oteng, owner of Angel Groups of Companies, Kofi Job, Nana Owusu Afriyie, Otumfuo Apagyahene and other dignitaries graced the opening ceremony.

Renowned musician, Abrantie Amakye Dede, was also there to entertain the attendees with scintillating music. Assorted local and international dishes and drinks were served at the event.

Kennedy Agyapong, who cut the tape to officially open the garage, urged Ghanaian businessmen to always seek for perfection in their areas of operation to maximise their profits.

“I love and admire Maxi the Car Dealer. This is a young man who is always determined to strive for perfection in his business, and he should be a perfect example for all of us.

“He is taking the car business in Kumasi and the country at large to the next level, so he should be encouraged and supported to sustain his good works,” Mr. Agyapong indicated.

According to him, those in the slightly used car business also contribute to the development of the economy, saying, “Maxi and his colleagues also offer employment to the youth.”

Kennedy Agyapong admonished those in the car business to shun backbiting and jealousy, and rather unite as one big family in order to push their businesses to the highest pedestal.

Maxi the Car Dealer, on his part, thanked God, his wife, Betty Kumi, his church members, his family, Nananom and all those who have supported his business in diverse ways over the years.

According to Mr. Kumi, he decided to refurbish his garage at Bekwai Roundabout in Kumasi and give it a new look because “I believe that Ghanaians also deserve the best of things in life.”
