Oak FC and Sissamba Ladies Dominate Greater Accra Women’s Division One League
Oak FC, the female team of Accra Hearts of Oak, continues to assert its dominance in the Greater Accra Women’s Division One League, holding onto the top spot in Zone 1 after a thrilling 3-2 away victory over Cafix Ladies FC on Match Day 13.
The hard-fought encounter showcased Oak FC’s resilience and attacking flair as they battled past a determined Cafix Ladies side.
With only a few matches remaining in the season, Oak FC remains the clear frontrunner for the title. Their latest win strengthens their lead, bringing their points tally to 36, with an impressive goal record of 78 scored and only 11 conceded.
Meanwhile, in Zone B, Sissamba Ladies FC continued their dominant run with a resounding 7-0 home victory over Blessed Ladies FC. The emphatic win keeps them firmly at the top of thei zone with 39 points, having found the net 71 times this season.
Both teams have demonstrated exceptional attacking firepower and defensive solidity, making them strong contenders for championship glory as the season nears its climax.
