Efia Odo and Dr Likee
Socialite and media personality, Efia Odo, has strongly denied rumours suggesting she is romantically involved with popular skit maker, Akabenezer, also known as Dr. Likee.
In a video circulating on Instagram, Efia Odo dismissed the speculations as false and baseless, stating clearly that her connection with Akabenezer is strictly professional. According to her, they only collaborated on comedy skits, and any suggestions of a romantic relationship are entirely unfounded.
“I only acted with Akabenezer, and that’s all,” she stated. Switching to Twi, she added, “Most of you are stupid and not wise, so you go around spreading falsehoods. You people lack understanding, so when you pray, ask God for understanding.”
Efia Odo also clarified that she has only publicly dated one celebrity in Ghana. “In this country, I have publicly shown only one guy that I’ve dated. So which other celebrity have you seen me with?” she asked, firmly rejecting claims of multiple celebrity relationships.
This is not the first time the two entertainers have been linked. Back in February 2024, a video of them acting together in one of Akabenezer’s skits went viral, sparking similar rumours. Neither party addressed the issue at the time.
Efia Odo’s latest statement puts to rest the recurring speculation, as she urges the public to focus on facts rather than fiction.
