Fella Makafui
Actress, Fella Makafui, has revealed that she was removed from the final season of the hit Ghanaian TV show YOLO.
In an interview with Pulse Ghana, Fella shared how she got the role of Serwaa and why she didn’t want to play it at first. She said she had gone to the audition hoping to play a different character, Emily, but was later told she would be playing Serwaa, a bread seller.
“I didn’t like it at all. I had spent years helping my mum sell bread, so I didn’t want to act like that again,” she said. “The first scene had to be reshot because I frowned throughout.”
When asked why she wasn’t in the final season, Fella simply said, “I got kicked out,” without giving details.
After leaving the show, Fella focused on her business life. She started her fashion brand, Fella Clothing, and later opened a wine and liquor business. However, she admitted that the drinks business wasn’t for her.
“You need to be outgoing and socialise to promote that kind of business, and that’s not me,” she said.
