GHANAIAN MUSIC lovers and fans of the late Daddy Lumba have taken to social media to demand recognition for sensational backing vocalist Yvonne Ohene Djan, popularly known as ‘SHE’, for her years of support to Lumba’s music career.

SHE is known to be the vocalist behind many of Daddy Lumba’s hit songs, which include the controversial 2016 New Patriotic Party (NPP) campaign song “Nana Ye Winner”, “Tokrom”, “Mensei Da (Harry)”, and “Asante Nkae”, among others.

She also backed Bradez and Okyeame Kwame’s “One Gallon”, Mzbel’s “16 Years”, and Becca’s “Daa ke daa”, and has extensive catalogue of over 70 hit records.

Content Creator, Toni Wingx, in a song compilation shared on TikTok on SHE, which has since generated over a million views, has seen followers calling on stakeholders in the industry to recognise her contribution to the Ghana music industry.  The video, captioned, “@SHE deserves her flower, she has worked!!!
