Mrs. Selina Adutwum (5th R), NPP Chairman of Dome- Kwabenya (4th R) with delegates and foundation team
Founder of Selina Adutwum Foundation, Selina Adutwum – wife of Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful – has made a series of donations to delegates of the party.
The donation, which took place in various parts of Accra, forms part of the foundation’s activities to promote the welfare of delegates and make a positive impact in their lives.
Mrs. Adutwum, during the donation, provided financial assistance to delegates in need. Notably, she donated a significant amount to Dr. Samuel Boakye, the Abiase-Amasaman Constituency NPP Chairman, to help cover his medical expenses and support his recovery. She also provided financial support to another delegate (a widow) in Dome-Kwabenya, to enable her rent a new home and start a business, thereby improving her livelihood.
Mrs. Adutwum further provided essential support to two female delegates at Anyaa-Sowutuom. One beneficiary received food items, provisions, and financial assistance to kick-start her business, while the other was given financial assistance to cover medical treatment costs.
Speaking during the donation, Mrs. Adutwum said the foundation is dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations in the NPP.
Touching on her husband’s candidacy for the NPP flagbearer position, she expressed her support and highlighted his achievements.
“Dr. Adutwum’s vision for helping others is evident in his work. As a leader, he has already made a significant impact in his constituency. Our initiatives have enabled over 150 children to become engineers and doctors.
“If elected flagbearer and subsequently President, Dr. Adutwum would leverage his experience to drive nationwide progress,” she said.
According to her, Dr. Adutwum would prioritise education, empower Ghanaian children to reach their full potential, and his commitment to helping others would benefit the entire nation.

The NPP Chairman for Dome-Kwabenya, Dr. Robert Osei Bonsu, said, “His impact on free education has been particularly noteworthy, and his leadership qualities have earned him widespread recognition.”
“Given his impressive track record, I wasn’t surprised when he decided to run for the flagbearership. I’m confident that he possesses the qualities necessary to excel in this role,” he added.
He thus encouraged Dr. Adutwum to work diligently, as the competition is fierce, adding that he should run a strong campaign and give his best effort.
