Some concerned New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates called ‘Agona Youth for Victory’ in the Agona West Constituency of the Central Region have declared their support for NPP flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, ahead of the party’s presidential primary next year.
Speaking at a press conference held at Agona Swedru, leader and spokesperson for the group, Ebenezer Donkoh, described Dr. Acheampong as a unifier and the ideal person to lead the party.
According to the group, the former Minister of Agriculture has a unique ability to bridge internal party divisions and lead the NPP to win the 2028 general election.
He said, “The NPP is currently at a crossroads. What we need now is a direction that leads to unity and eventual victory, Dr. Bryan Acheampong has demonstrated, through his leadership style, that he is the right person to unite our party and lead us to success in 2028.”
Mr. Donkoh also called on delegates across the country to support Dr. Bryan Acheampong, stressing that his leadership would help restore discipline, promote inclusiveness, and ensure fairness within the party.
Some of the delegates at the press conference also emphasised the need for an inclusive leader who would uphold justice and foster unity among members of the party.
