Tryton Motors, the exclusive partner and distributor of JAC products in Ghana, has officially introduced a new range of JAC commercial vehicles onto the Ghanaian market.
The lineup includes light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks designed to meet the diverse transportation needs of construction firms, logistics and transport companies, agricultural businesses, and other sectors.
Speaking at the launch held at the company’s head office in Accra recently, Chief Executive of Tryton Motors, Jihad Hijazi, said the new JAC commercial vehicles are robust and competitively positioned to serve both rural and urban markets.
“We are essentially catering to the entire market with this new JAC range. JAC is a globally recognized brand with over 61 years of experience, originally known for its commercial vehicles. Although we also sell SUVs and pickups, commercial transport is the brand’s backbone,” Mr. Hijazi stated.
He added, “The vehicles offer unmatched value and are competitively priced. These are not just vehicles for city use. They are found where they are needed most such as in mines, hinterlands, and industrial zones.”
According to Mr. Hijazi, beyond strengthening its presence in major cities of the country, Tryton Motors plans to extend its reach to remote areas where heavy-duty vehicles are in high demand.
“Our next step is expanding our physical network into Ghana’s major cities and eventually deeper into the hinterlands, whether it is distribution companies in Accra or mining operations in remote regions,” he explained.
He emphasised that JAC trucks are durable and adaptable, built on strong chassis platforms suitable for a wide range of specialised uses.
“In today’s AI-powered and rapidly evolving world, Ghana stands at a pivotal point. We believe that as a key industry player, our decisions must contribute to national development. From infrastructure to logistics, every JAC vehicle represents a commitment to Ghana’s progress,” he noted.
Fadi Fattal, Group Business Development Director at Tryton Motors, added that the new trucks are not only tailored to empower start-ups and drive businesses but also provide vital support to industries because of their efficiency.
He explained that JAC vehicles are tested for the country’s tough road conditions and are designed to reduce fuel consumption, extend service intervals, and maximise operational uptime.
“Choosing JAC is not just a purchase. It’s an investment in value, dependability, and the future. Every trip and every load carry more than goods; they carry livelihoods and families,” Mr. Fattal said.
According to him, the company is committed to scaling up its operations and empowering businesses of all sizes with vehicles built to last and perform efficiently.
