Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has spoken out amid her ongoing dispute with her estranged partner, Senator Ned Nwoko, admitting to drug use but accusing him of enabling her addiction and exploiting her struggles for personal and public gain.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, November 9, 2025, Regina reacted to Nwoko’s earlier claims that her friends and siblings sabotaged her rehabilitation and introduced her to illegal substances.
The actress dismissed his accusations as false and manipulative, stating that Ned was attempting to tarnish her family’s reputation. “Ned, how could you lie so openly and without even small remorse? You know my family has absolutely nothing to do with this,” she wrote.
Regina admitted to using drugs but denied that it was the main cause of their relationship troubles. “Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us?” she wrote, accusing Nwoko of using the matter to gain sympathy from the public.
In her posts, Regina Daniels also alleged that the senator encouraged her drug use, claiming he preferred her “high” and accusing him of both physical and psychological abuse. She further claimed he restricted her contact with family and coerced doctors to administer medication without her consent.
“You take my phones for weeks because you hate that I talk to my family a lot,” she stated, adding that Nwoko often labelled her “mentally unstable” to undermine her credibility.
The actress also claimed their relationship was never legally recognised. “For the record, I would have filed for divorce long ago if there had ever been a legal marriage between us. We were never married in any court of law,” she asserted.
Regina concluded her posts by expressing regret that the matter had become public, writing, “I just feel so ashamed that all these had happened.”
