Rudeboy
A woman, identified on X as @chubbiedivah, who falsely accused Nigerian musician, Rudeboy (Paul Okoye of P-Square) of rape, has been formally charged in court.
Reports indicate that she deleted her X account and allegedly left her marital home after the allegation was exposed as false.
She was arrested on 6 November 2025, detained, and subsequently charged on November 10, 2025.
Sources say Rudeboy did not publicise her arrest to avoid generating public sympathy that could affect the legal process.
The accused reportedly experienced health issues shortly after her detention, leading to her release on compassionate grounds with a promise to return to court.
She failed to appear for hearings on November 10 and 17, citing ongoing medical treatment.
The case was later rescheduled for December 2025, with the court ordering that either the accused or her lawyer must appear without failure.
