Founder and Managing Director of ZEN Petroleum Limited, William Tewiah, has made a personal donation to the Buz Stop Boys by purchasing the first copy of Lose Millions, Win Life for GH¢115,000.
He took this step after learning that proceeds from the first copy of the book would go directly to support the group’s environmental and sanitation work.
The book was authored by Aldis Ozols, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of A1 Diesel Limited, a long-time supporter of the Buz Stop Boys, and was launched at an event aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and community impact.
Since 2023, Mr. Ozols has supported the Buz Stop Boys through various donations and initiatives that have helped establish and sustain the group’s operations. These include the donation of their first tricycle, which enabled the group to undertake structured waste collection activities.
At the book launch, it was announced that proceeds from the first copy would be donated to the group to further enhance their work, a commitment that inspired Mr. Tewiah’s personal contribution.
Mr. Tewiah said his engagement with and endorsement of the Buz Stop Boys underscore a belief shared across ZEN Petroleum that protecting the environment is a collective responsibility.
He added that through both individual leadership and corporate values, ZEN Petroleum recognises and celebrates the Buz Stop Boys as partners in the national effort towards a cleaner and healthier Ghana.
ZEN Petroleum reaffirmed its commitment to collaboration, advocacy and support for organisations that promote environmental consciousness across the country, acknowledging the critical role community-led initiatives play in driving sustainable change.
