Almed
GHANAIAN SOCIAL media sensation, Almed, has disclosed his willingness to promote female musicians, especially those who’ve stopped releasing music, stressing that the industry is boring without them.
According to Almed, the absence of Adina, Kaakie, Tiffany, MzVee, Feli Nuna, and others in the music industry is questionable. He emphasised that these names were competing with male musicians, considering the fact that the Ghanaian music industry is male-dominated.
In a video posted on his TikTok page, Almed was heard saying, “I’m missing my girls. Where are you? Come on out. I want a MzVee and Stonebwoy collab right now. MzVee and Kwame Eugene, I need a collaboration right now. Feli Nuna, where are you? Adina. Adina, are you asleep? Why are my queens like me?” he said.
He continued, “The industry is so boring. I need some queens. I need some queens like, Ah, where are you guys? I want that Eazzy baby, Tiffany, Kaakie, you think I’ve forgotten, if you don’t wake up and see, I just want, I need some females in the industry because, like, like, I’m so angry because I was listening to music (sic).
“And, like, right now I’m listening to old music, and I’m like, where are these people? Where are they? I need you guys in the industry. Like to be honest; I need some females to stand out in the industry.”
He reiterated his support for any of the names mentioned above, saying, “See, I’ll do anything. If you want a promotion, text me. I’ll promote your music, especially MzVee, you have no idea how you carried my childhood.”
