The Ghana Football Association is set to hold a comprehensive mid-season review meeting for Match Commissioners on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, as part of its ongoing drive to improve match organisation and administration across Ghanaian football.
The staggered engagement will bring together officials from the Premier League, Division One League and the Women’s Premier League in three separate sessions.
Premier League Match Commissioners will meet first at 5:00pm, followed by their Division One counterparts at 6:00pm, with the programme concluding at 7:00pm for the Women’s Premier League commissioners.
The review is expected to take stock of the commissioners’ performance during the first half of the season, while also examining the operational challenges encountered on matchdays.
Organisers say the sessions will focus on reinforcing best practices, strengthening adherence to FA regulations and preparing officials for a more efficient second half of the campaign.
Beyond assessment, the meetings will serve as a platform for feedback, capacity building and closer alignment with the Football Association’s standards for match management.
Through the initiative, the FA aims to boost professionalism, consistency and efficiency in matchday administration, ensuring improved coordination among stakeholders and the smooth conduct of league competitions for the remainder of the season and beyond.
