Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has reacted strongly to claims that he owes a wedding planner $50,000, dismissing the allegation as “crazy.”
The singer made the comment on Sunday evening after social media was flooded with reports alleging that Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, CEO of the event planning company behind his wedding to Chioma, had accused him of failing to settle an outstanding bill.
The viral report was accompanied by an alleged chat in which the wedding planner was said to be threatening legal action over the unpaid fee.
Responding on X, Davido appeared visibly displeased by the accusation, describing the situation as an insult. “This is just crazy atp,” the singer wrote.
