The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has denied a viral report that suggested that some 60% of recruitment applicants screened during the medical screening tested positive for HIV.
No report from the medical screening is ready as the viral report suggested, the GAF denial indicated.
The denial, dated January 25, 2026, stated that “efforts are underway to track the originators of the mischievous story.”
The military has once more advised members of the media to cross-check their stories before letting them out.
