Vivo Energy Celebrates Val’s Day With Korle Bu Child’s Department

Vivo Energy Ghana, exclusive marketer, and distributor of Shell branded fuels and lubricants has donated a Hawmed Syringe pumps and infusion pumps to the Child’s Health Department of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to commemorate Valentine’s Day.

The equipment is vital for administering exact doses of medication to children, particularly those who are critically ill.

The donation, presented in collaboration with Nivaansh MediQas Ghana Limited.

After the donation, employees shared packs of chocolate and roses to the children receiving care at the hospital.

Speaking to journalists, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Christian Li, reiterated the company’s dedication to touching and impacting lives.

“We believe donating these equipment will go a long way towards ensuring the healthcare of children who visit the facility,” he said.

Paediatric Oncology Fellow at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr. Ernestina Schandorf, expressed gratitude for a donation.

“The donation means a lot to the department and the children we care for. It’s not just the gift, but the presence, especially during hard times like this, where children get to spend holidays in the hospital,” she said. “This donation is a good start, especially for the ICU and emergency room.”

Dr. Schandorf thanked Vivo for supporting child health and opening their doors to the Department of Child Health.

Sunita Kaul, Head of Sale Nivaansh MediQas Ghana Limited also applauded Vivo Ghana for the patronage pledging to render their services to the hospital.
