TWO SUSPECTED armed robbers had a field’s day as they stole a number of valuable items and money from a house they invaded at Adiembra in the Kumasi Metropolis.
The runaway robbers, reportedly, managed to tie the caretaker of the house they invaded with ropes, and that paved way for them to steal whatever they wanted.
The two robbers, who were said to be in possession of a knife and pistol, surprisingly, did not harm the caretaker, identified by the police as Maxwell Fosu, during the robbery.
According to the Ridge Police Station report in Kumasi, the robbers invaded the house at Adiembra around 1:30 a.m. on February 20, 2026 when the caretaker was alone in the house.
“On 20/02/2026, at 1010 hours, Yaw Acheampong of Atonsu, Kumasi reported that on same day at about 0800 hours he was informed by Maxwell Fosu, the caretaker of the house at Adiembra, Kumasi belonging to his sister, Ama Amponsah, domiciled in Germany.
“That at about 0130 hours of 20/02/2026, two young men he can identify when seen, entered the house through a window, holding pistol and a knife, tied him with a rope and made away with cash in the sum of GH¢700, and a number of items yet to be determined,” the police said.
According to the police, “efforts are underway through informants to get the perpetrators arrested.”
