Follow Immigration Rules – Expert

Visa applicants have been urged to abide by immigration rules and to especially avoid misrepresentation in their applications in order not to face long-term bans from several countries.

Wonder Victor Kutor, a lawyer specialising in Immigration Law, made the call during the launch of his book titled “The Immigration Formula: Rules, Packaging & Strategy” in Accra.

The book offers a comprehensive guide to immigration rules, documentation, as well as strategies, and aims to bridge the knowledge gap for individuals seeking to present their cases effectively to consulates.

Reflecting on his experience in law school and as lawyer, the author said the book was developed to address the lack of accessible resources on immigration law and procedures as well as provide practical insights for students, professionals, and anyone navigating the complexities of immigration.

The book features 37 real-life case exhibits, designed to help readers understand the documentation requirements and processes involved in immigration, and expected to serve as a valuable resource for both visa applicants as well as those seeking professional opportunities abroad.

The foreword of the book was written by Professor Dr. Larry A. DiMatteo, former editor-in-chief of the American Business Law Journal and Supreme Court Justice, Emmanuel Yonny Kulendi, who also chaired the launch of the book.

Justice Kulendi lauded Wonder Victor Kutor for the book, which provides valuable insights for prospective immigrants and non-immigrants, while emphasising the importance of migration as it addresses labour shortages and contributes to GDP of a country, especially in remittances.

“Migration is a crucial driver of economic and social development, and any work that provides education and guidance on how to effectively migrate is an invaluable resource,” he said.
