The burnt house
Patrick Agyemang Yeboah is in police custody for allegedly setting his wife’s house on fire in Kumasi, over suspicion that she was cheating with a UK ‘borga’.
Before the incident, the suspect, who has since been arrested, is said to have confided in a friend, Kennedy Adutwum, that he was facing challenges with his wife, who had allegedly driven him out of their matrimonial home, a house that belongs to the woman’s family, where he had been living.
According to Kennedy, Patrick suspected his wife was involved with her ex-boyfriend based in London, which he believed was the reason she wanted to end the marriage.
The suspect reportedly denied setting up the house ablaze, though he admitted going on social media to make threats of harm.
