Zubby Michael
Nollywood actor, Zubby Michael, has revealed that he chooses to give his tithe directly to people in need rather than to a church.
Speaking in an interview with Broadway TV, the actor said he recently donated N10.2 million to individuals on the street, explaining that the amount represented 10 per cent of the N102 million he had earned from movie roles in a short period.
Michael stated that the gesture was his own way of paying tithe, as he does not attend church or believe in giving tithes to religious institutions.
“Not to brag but I am the richest actor. The last time I checked my book, I realised that I have made N102 million from artist’s fee lately — not in my whole career but just of recent,” he said.
“I donated N10.2 million, which is 10 per cent of the money, to the needy on the street. I don’t pay tithe to the church. I don’t go to church. I don’t believe in paying tithe to the church.”
