Television personality and actress, Abena Kyei Boakye, believes the Blackstars can secure a victory against England when the two sides meet in the 2026 FIFA World Cup tonight.
Ahead of the highly anticipated encounter, Abena Kyei said Ghana must remain focused, disciplined and tactically sharp to overcome the Three Lions.
According to her, while England possess a dangerous attack, their defence can be exposed if Ghana takes advantage of the spaces available.
“England are a very strong side going forward, but I believe Ghana can exploit the weaknesses in their defence and create scoring opportunities,” she said.
She also called on the Black Stars to stay mentally strong throughout the game and avoid unnecessary fouls and bookings that could put the team under pressure.
Abena further stressed the importance of making timely substitutions, urging the technical team to make quick decisions whenever changes are needed during the match.
The Blackstars head into the England clash with confidence after recording a 1-0 victory over Panama in their opening match of the tournament.
The win, secured through a late goal, brought excitement to Ghanaian supporters around the world and gave the team a positive start to its World Cup campaign.
With Ghana set to face England at 8 p.m. tonight, Abena Kyei remains optimistic that the Black Stars can produce another performance and secure all three points.
